A great weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend. Spent lots of quality time together. We went to Roger's parents on Saturday. Grandpa actually got Bek on the 4-wheeler! We have all tried for 3 years to get her on it. She is always scared and won't go near. She loved it! Said on the way home she wanted to do that again!!!!! The kids all had a great time playing outside and having the freedom of being on the farm.

Sunday I went to the grocery store all by myself! This really is a very big deal, it never happens! I got everything stocked up and ready for the next 2 weeks of life. We got our menu's planned, and we are ready to roll.

Yesterday was a holiday so both Roger and Chris were home. We got the house hold chores caught up for the week and Roger and Bobby with a little help from the girls got all the yard work done. It feels really good to be caught up and ready to begin a new week.

A short note about school, Bobby is doing awesome. The goals that he has set with all of his grandparents are really encouraging. He is really working hard on them. His attitude is the best we have seen it in a very long while. He ended last week with an A average over all. Chris survived his first week of school. He did really well, we have some things to work on but I think that will always be the case.

A funny note........ yesterday I mixed up Chris's morning and evening meds, which meant that he took his sleeping pill at breakfast. OOPS! He took a 2 hour nap before lunch, but woke up very happy and doing well. I think the extra sleep did him some good.
