4 kids....... What was I thinking????

We have almost completed the first week of having Chris back at school. He is doing ok. He is struggling with maintaining control and keeping focused. I know that at home and all he is very scatterbrained, and very toddler like. I had a conference with his teacher tonight, he is the same way at school. We will just keep trudging through always looking for answers. His doctor has also recommended a sleep study. We know that he doesn't sleep well, and that his behavior is greatly affected. Also they will be looking at his tonsils. He has horrid allergies all the time and has since he was really little. And if he just doesn't feel well but that is a norm for him, there could be a correlation between that and his behavior. We are working on getting that set up. Maybe that will give us some answers in how to help him. This is a never ending process. He is such a blessing and a joy and yet he is one of the biggest struggles and sometimes heartaches of my life. I constantly surround him in prayers.

Bobby is having a much better week. Although I did have to put some boundaries about his reading. He reads constantly, which is awsome but he still has to do his school work and his chores. We talked about it tonight and set some guidelines for free reading. I am prayerful that this new idea will help him to be able to get the other things done that he needs to accomplish.

Bekah.................... Where do you begin............. OH I KNOW................... WITH A NAP!!!!!! She has completely quit taking naps, which wouldn't be a problem except she is soooooooooo cranky!!! She is whiney, and likes the word NO! I am sure that it is a phase. Last week with Rog on vacation and Chris home everyone got off of their schedule, now it is my job as mom to put everyone back on schedule. Convincing a stubborn 3 year old that she really does need a nap next to impossible!

Sarah is my rock at the moment. She is so happy all the time. She comes in and just grins. She curls up in my lap and asked to be tickled, then she giggles and giggles and giggles. She helps me make it through a stressful day. Her smile can brighten anyone's bad day!
