With a new year always brings change. I have thought long and hard about the changes that I want to make this year. I have came up with a couple.
1. Drink more water. I really struggle with drinking much water. I personally prefer diet Pepsi or coffee or tea. This seems silly but I printed me a sticker chart to help keep track of the water I am drinking.
2. Loose some weight. I know this is everyone's New Years Resolution. I have gotten in the last 2 months or so where I am really tired and have no energy. It seems all I have done since the first part of Nov is eat! Along with being tired I just haven't felt completely up to par. I took my self off of sugar just after Christmas, because I was getting really bad headaches, it has really helped a lot. I also have started cutting back on my portion sizes. I have to admit that as of the last day or so I am starting to feel better. I know the gym is next, but I am still working on that one. I have a wonderful exercise bike, but I cannot reach the pedals very well. I am trying to fix that so that I can use it.
3. Study the Bible more. This is an area I have really struggled with. Praying comes easily to me, but actually picking up my Bible to study is something I know I should do but have a really hard time doing so. I have joined a Bible Study group, I am really excited about getting together with this wonderful group of ladies. I also am working on trying to do daily devo's also.
4. Be more positive. I feel at times that I that I can be very negative, I have been working on this one for a while and will continue working on it.
I am excited about the start of 2009. We have a lot going on in our lives yet we are loving spending time with our kids and our family.
