I have moved into a cave! Not not really but it does tend to feel that way. As the summer temperatures go up, the house is harder to keep cool and comfortable. Our AC unit is smaller than would be recommended for the size of our house, so I pull the blinds shut, close the curtains. I put aluminum foil on a couple of the window to help block some of the heat. I noticed yesterday that I was able to cool my house by about 10 degrees! I love the sunlight but I love the savings on the summer electric bill!!!!!!! It makes the house dark like a cave but it is well worth the savings!
