A white cold Christmas!
We spent the holiday's in Oklahoma with my family. We had lots of snow, ice and really cold weather! We made some memories. It was a Christmas like no other in so many ways. We spent 2 days stranded in a hotel about half way to my mom's house. The roads were so bad we chose not to go any further for safety reasons. We played in the snow, we swam in the indoor pool. We watched movies and snuggled. We had 3 of the 4 kids with us for that leg of the trip. We were really blessed with a wonderful time! All of my siblings got stuck in the ice and snow. There were snow drifts that completely closed roads. One was even tall enough that is was taller than a road grader. We are very grateful for our decision to stay in the hotel. Oklahoma truly got a blizzard. The kids loved playing in the snow, but the temps were so cold that the kids could only stay out a short while. Then they were rushing in to warm up by the fire. When we left there was still a lot of snow on the ground and still some really large snow drifts. I took a ton of pictures and made a lot of memories.
