Today

Today is a new day, and a blessed day from our Father above. I am prepped and ready for Co-op. I still need to load the van. We are doing well with school. We have put our selves back on a schedule that we are able to stick with. What a wonderful thing our schedule is. It gives us more time in the day to get things accomplished. Also the kids have started doing chores better. We now have it set up so that they cannot move on to the next thing unless mom or dad have checked it. Also not doing their chores will affect the next meal being offered. If they don't do the things they are asked to do then they will not get to eat what the rest of the family eats but will get something like a cheese sandwich instead. Even Sarah has been getting involved in this. The kids all want to eat the main meal being fixed, not the substitute meal. Having the chores done also gives us more free time to enjoy the family and the beautiful weather we have been blessed with.

Roger and I have started prayerfully planning next school year. We are looking at a few curriculum changes for next school year, as Bekah will be in K and Bobby in 7th. We have never chosen curriculum this way before. It is a very neat experience. I think the kids will do great with their learning.

We are still behind in a few areas of school, but we are making ground and catching up. It takes some work and some time, but we will be caught up in no time.
