The littles new schedules

We have been working on revising our schedules to include all the activities that we are involved in. Again I think we are a bit to busy but we are praying about that. We also have been working on getting the kids motivated to do their chores. I have been reading some wonderful books from Titus2.com. Steve and Terri Maxwell are the authors. I have learned a lot about schedule and how to make them work. My girls are not able to read a schedule and know what is next, Chris also gets very frustrated trying to read a schedule. The other night I took the time and created the 3 of them schedules that have pictures to indicate what they are supposed to do. I also made some paper dolls that represent each one of them. Chris made his own paper doll. I then used velcro to mark the schedule. So the 3 littles can move their little person down the schedule as we go through our day!!! The kids also have cards that indicate what their chores are. The pictures on the schedule are the same ones as on the chore cards.

Wow what a difference having a workable schedule is!!! Tonight has gone beautifully! No fighting, No arguing. It helps for everyone to know where they are supposed to be. I have also learned that having kids working in different areas of the house doing chores is so peaceful!!! Everyone did all their jobs tonight, with out fussing and fighting!!!! It has been such an enjoyable evening!!!!

Chris's Schedule is the same Mon-Fri, so he just has one day to look at. Also his mood chart is posted right beside his schedule. Since the kitchen is the hub of the house, Chris's is posted on the fridge.

Bekah's schedule is different all 5 days so I made her a 5 column schedule. It is also posted in the kitchen only it is on the wall, at a level that she can reach everything.

Sarah again has a different schedule daily. Hers is also on the kitchen wall at a level that she can reach.

There are certain parts of our day that are always the same, but there are spots where everyone is doing a different thing. Also some of our chores rotate days, and this way, they know what chores they are doing on what day. All 3 of the littles liked the new schedules. They are simple enough for them to understand, and having the dolls makes it so they can move along with the schedule.
