Great weekend!

We had a great weekend with the family! They brought me lots of things. Some of it really nice, some of it junk, and a lot that needs refinished. It was wonderful to spend time with them..

While they were here, My mothers and I went shopping for fabric. They both bought a lot. I purchase the fabric for a nine patch quilt for my living room. I want to make it as a throw for the back of my couch. This is my first 9 patch. I am going to strip piece it. My mother explained how to put it together and how to do it. I am really getting excited about working on it. I will start on it later this week probally.

I got really excited about getting my new pieces put in placed and really got busy after the family left. When I was moving one piece I stubbed my toe, only I think instead of stubbing it, I actually broke it. It is my little toe on my right foot. It is killing me, very swollen, and purple colored. Oh well that is what I get for being a clutz!!!
