The splender and the beauty

I just love to leave the city for a couple of days. Over the weekend, we went to Lake Texhoma camping. The kids really loved it, which made it worth it. Personally I like the Holiday Inn much better! The one thing I loved about it is that God is all around you. Being in nature and in the woods, you can really see how marvoulous God is. The trees were gorgous, in greens, yellows, oranges and browns. The water was a beautiful blue. The sky above was a soft blue. The weather was just the perfect temperature, a bit chilly at night. I loved listening to the birds singing and talking to one another. The spider webs were amazing, how perfectly they were put together and how they glinted in the sun. The stars at night were to many to count, and stunning. The night so black and the stars so bright. From our mattress in our cabin I could look out the window and some stars. The peace and tranqullity of being out in God's nature. I feel so blessed to spend some time with God, unfortunatly I was to engrossed in my own problems to really get away and talk with God. I missed a wonderful oppertunity. I took in all the beauty and still dwelled on my own life and my own challenges. I really need to work on spending more time with our Lord and Savior. He is so marvoulous and so generous. Going back to nature reminded me that I don't spend enough time with him. I will work on that.

May God bless you as you journey through your day!
