What a way to start the morning. I got up with Chris. I started laundry like always. I am still a bit back logged with having to wash all the blankets from camping. I was so proud of myself for getting up and getting started and on the ball so early. The first load went into the dryer, I put the second load in the washer and noticed that my house shoes were getting wet. Roger came in about 6:45 from work. Together we sobbed up all the water. Then my incredible husband took apart the washing machine and discovered that the hose on the tub had come loose! Once we got that put back on and the rest of the washing machine put back together. We checked to see if it worked, and yay it is fixed!!! I got down and did a good cleaning on the floor of my laundry room ( under the machines). I finished hooking everything up, and wola it is running now full of wet towels we used to sob up the mess!!!
I have come up with a few blessings in this little flood.
- My floor really needed a good cleaning, and under the machines was nasty!
- Roger had just came home and was able to fix the problem.
- It cost us no money just a bit of time and lots of cleanup!!!
- The best part is that Roger worked together as a team to get everything fixed and cleaned up!!!
