completed 5 days at the gym

I have survived the first week at the gym. Yesterday and today I went to water aerobics classes. They are a lot of fun. There are many things that I cannot do on land but can do in the water. But there are also things that I can't do even in the water. I will get better over time. I have learned a few interesting facts this week. First off you can sweat in a pool! I learned that I have to wear my tighter bathing suit or I have issues with the suit in the water. I also have learned that aqua shoes are a must!!!! I am soooo sore but I stuck it out and finished the workout today. I know that it will get easier over time. I also have been working on changing my eating habits. I have discovered I do really good until about 3 pm. Then it all flys out the window. I guess that is a start. I also am trying to cut down on the amount of diet soda I drink daily. So far that one I haven't given up completely but I have cut back!!!

The kids love going to the gym the childcare is sooooo incredible they cry when it is time to leave. We also have been taking advantage of the family pool hours in the evenings some. Yesterday we had a blast with the kids at the pool. They even got me to go down the water slide! All the other gyms and times I never have had this much fun working out! I have set some goals, and I am working on it. My first immediate goal is to get to 300lbs. I really just started working on this goal on April 1. So I still have a little way to go but it will be so worth it!
