Spring break is upon us.... now you might think that because we home school we don't get regular school holidays. Well that is not entirely true, because Chris does attend public school, we are on break when he is on break at least during the school year.
Bobby spent the weekend camping with a group from the church. They got in really late last night, but being spring break he was able to sleep in this morning. He had a wonderful time and had a lot of things to tell me about the trip. He even brought us back a special treat...... he is covered head to toe with poison ivy!!!! The doc put him on a steroid and zyrtec. He is also using the pink stuff all over his body, so now he is a pinky white kid!!! Unfortantly he is miserable.
I had the week all planned out.....
Monday - house work, laundry -- stay home
Tuesday - chiropractor, gymnastics, and therapy
Wednesday -- laundry, fun crafts with the kids
Thursday -- Heritage Farmstead, and picnic
Friday -- Final preparations for LTC
Well, lets see here, I have succeeded in the house work and laundry, but then laundry is an everyday project. tomorrow the plan has changed a bit since Bobby is the only one taking gymnastics at this time, we won't be going to that. And Chris's therapy has been moved to earlier in the day. So it looks like I will be home most of the day tomarrow also. We will probally work on the garage, it has a way of getting pitted out really quickly around here. So far it looks like the rest of the week is still on track.
It seems that it has been crazy around here lately. Our computer crashed, Roger got it up and running late last night! YAY!!! You know it is funny at how much I miss it when it is not working. I think that tells me that I spend to much time on it.
I did blood work on Thursday, My doc is still working on getting my thyroid levels back to where they should be. Several months ago we had a mess up at the pharmacy and they gave me a higher dose than was prescribed, as it turned out it looks like the higher dose was the perfect dose or close to it. Then after that I was given the correct dose and I tanked. So the last couple of months we have done a lot of blood work and fluctuation in the medicine. She upped it again this time. I am feeling better and I have a lot more energy! Yay!!!
Chris is doing really well at the moment. School is going well, and home life is improving. Last week at school he got a couple of awards
Outstanding in Social Studies
A-B honor roll for first semester.
The girls are doing well as well.
I pray that every one has a great evening
God Bless
