Friday school update 2/22

5th Grade
We have had a great week at school! We have been learning about the ocean floor in science, about Henry Ford in history. We have been doing geometry in math, Grammar we have started the grammar grams, which is a great review for him. He does Bible on his own. We added reading this week, We are using an Abeka book. I read the story out loud and we discuss it. School is going wonderful.

Preschool
We are playing an alphabet game with the girls. Bek can recognize all her letters but not their sounds. So I made a game that has the letter, and a picture of something that starts with that sound. We go over the letter, the sound and the picture. We take turns and it is a lot of fun. We also worked on counting our toes with Sarah, she thought it was a lot of fun. I have also started reading 1-2 books to the girls a day. We also do a devo together to begin our day. I also have puzzles and things that the girls can work on independently while Bobby and I work, they are still using their minds.

On Friday's there is a wonderful woman from church that takes Bekah to a toddler reading program at the library. They go about every other week. They go to the library then to lunch. I think both of them love it. Today Bobby went with them he also had a great time.

I love it when all parties have a good week at school!
