It is week 2 of January, or the first full of of the year!!!! I have a couple of goals I am working on this month. My husband is keeping me accountable, but I also thought I would share with you.
On Monday's I will update how I am doing on my goals.
1. Only eat out when it is budgeted for. I am really bad about going through a drive thru for lunch/ snack or just because. It is so bad that we drive by a McDonald's and Sarah yells "hungry". I am a diet drink junkie, and will always stop when I am out and about. Roger bought me a My Sonic card with a monthly balance on it, and he manages it for me. It still allows me to stop and get a diet drink, but when the money is gone it is gone. That is in the budget, however just stopping anywhere else just because is not in the budget.
Tue - yes; Wed - yes; Thur - yes; Fri - yes; Sat - no; Sun - no. I made it 4/6 days this year!
2. Going to the gym or walking with the kids and the dog. I really need to work on getting this weight off. Plus I feel much better when I am active and moving. We belong to the YMCA, they have great childcare for the girls and a kids gym for the boys when they are with me. Roger is also going to the gym. He gets there earlier in the morning than I do, he is finishing up as I am getting started. I have figured this into our school schedule so - it works as a PE for Bobby. I weigh in on Wednesdays so I will update on that then.
