Confession: I am not the greatest house keeper in the world, though some of you already knew that!
I keep the house reasonable clean and well organized but beyond that a lot slips by. A couple of times a year I go through and really clean everything at the same time. Don't get me wrong I clean everything just not usually all at the same time. I like to start each school term with the laundry caught up, everything put away and vacuumed, floors mopped, clean beds ect. I do this ususally in January and August. It just feels good to start school on a really good clean note. [ I also do a mini version in April and October.] My house smells clean and fresh! Of course this is the only time that everything is all done together, and close to the only time that all the laundry is caught up completely including folded and put away in clean drawers. I have also done some purging from the book cases and the linen closet. My house defiantly feels good to walk into. Truth be told it probably won' t last long but that is ok!
Laundry is running; I still have the bathrooms to tackle and the kitchen floor to mop, then I can say that I have completely cleaned my house this week while fighting bad sinus congestion!
It feels really good to be in a really clean house! Now I must tackle that kitchen floor while the girls are down for quiet time.
