Good evening one and all

I am finally starting to get caught up from being gone for a week. I have the house picked up and the laundry is running still.

School update
Bobby is doing very well. We are still behind in Math and English but we are making great strides to get caught up to where he should be. I am currently looking at a new History curriculum for the spring. I was not pleased with what we had been using so we quit using it and started looking for something different. We have been doing Geography in it's place. We have also started some typing. So far it is just this really funny game I found online, but it will give him the basic idea. Then in the spring he will start working on it daily. He is finaly writing cursive. He is getting better at it with practice. He loves his gymnastics class. We are taking the month of December off from gymnastics. To many other things that are calling for our attention. We will pick it back up in January. He really enjoys school and being home all the time.

Girls
The girls are growing so fast. We spent a week with my family in Oklahoma, Sarah now talks so clearly, I would have to say clearer than Bekah. Her personality is so out there right now. She is so happy and will share her joy with anyone. Bekah is sooooooo smart. While we were at my moms last week. The kids were all putting their names on their styrophone cups for the day. Bekah told someone that the way to spell her name was B-E-K-A-H! I was so impressed, I didn't realize she knew that. She knows all of her colors and shapes, her favorite song is the ABC song. She counts object up to about 12. I guess with out even trying she is doing preschool work. I just usually try to entertain her while Bobby and I work on his school work.

Christmas
I am about done with my Christmas shopping, really I am now just finishing up some loose ends that are still dangling. I also did my decorating except for the tree. That is the kids job. I also came up with a plan for my Christmas goodies this year. I have started working on that some as well. I think that I am getting into the spirit this year, it has been a couple of years since I could really enjoy the Christmas season. Usually to much hustle and bustle, I like the slower pace that I am working really hard on this year.

I also have about half of my lesson planning about done through May. My goal is to get it done before we go on break so that I can fully enjoy my break.

Boys Grandfather
Update on Bob .... He is doing very well. He will have his 3rd Chemo treatment this week. Please keep him in your prayers.
