Mid week up date

School is great this week, Bobby is really doing an awesome job with getting everything turned in. He is doing great. Over the weekend he set some goals and made some deals with his parents and grandparents. One stipulation is his attitude must be good everyday, and the other is completing all school work when it is due. The rewards are various parts of a western outfit, including hat and boots. He is really excited and working hard for those items. He has to go through Oct 12 in order to get his rewards.

Chris is having a good week at home this week. He and Max have really bonded. Max is our new dog. He came over the weekend with my parents. He is a red heeler, that appears to be blind and deaf on one side of his head. We did a lot of praying about getting him before we agreed. He is working as a therapy dog for Chris. He really helps Chris to calm down a lot faster, he also is Chris's responsibility to feed, walk and take care of. So it is helping with teaching Chris responsibility for something other than himself. Chris by the way is doing all the added chores of having a dog, which in turn is doing Chris and Max a lot of good. He is the calmest, sweetest dog I have ever seen. He is completely house broken and loves playing with the kids.

Sarah is really starting to talk, she has new words everyday, and is so animated. Bekah is your typical 3 year old, bossy.

Roger is on vacation this week. We have been to the gym everyday this week. We have been going all together as a family! Everyone has benefited from the time with daddy. We have also been working on our routines in prep for the end of summer. We have revamped the school schedule to allow time to go to the gym daily, which I think will be awesome.

Today I went and had a massage! I feel incredible! I am glad we are having such a wonderful week. It is so wonderful to be able to spend time together as a family. I feel so blessed. I have noticed that I spent months praying for peace in our home with all the craziness with Chris, I can say my house feels very peaceful as a whole. We still have our moments but that is what they are are moments! God is really working wonders in our family. In all of us the kids and Roger and I. We have almost completely cut out the TV, which is something I never thought was possible. We have really not been all that interested in the garbage that is on. The kids watch mostly dvd's, since the vcr part is not working. I have noticed that the kids aren't as charged as they used to be. It doesn't seem that we even miss the tv most of the time!

My prayer for you is that you will know God's love and be blessed immensely by it.
God Bless
