My Birthday

Yesterday was my 29th birthday! I was treated and pampered. My kids were farmed out all over for the day. Bobby went and spent the day with Bob and Beth Netherton, Chris of course was at day camp, Bekah was at the Church daycare, and Sarah was at a friend from Church's house whom has little boy about the same age. We started the day with breakfast. Summer bought me a bagel which was soo good. We dropped all of the kids off and then we were on our way. I went to the chiropractor and got an adjustment. Then I had a 1 hour massage! Wow, that was incredible! Then we went and had lunch and hung out with Kelly and the babies. Late in the afternoon we went shopping.

For dinner went went to Mexicali's. There Roger and the kids, Summer, Kelly and Bob and Beth had dinner. They had the staff sing "Happy Birthday" to me. We had birthday cake and opened gifts. I had a very wonderful time, and was very relaxed!

Here are the pics of the wonderful things the kids made and other bought for my special day.

Bobby made my birthday cake, it was strawberry cake with a cream cheese/ cool whip icing. It tasted incredible. He also painted these beautiful flower pots and bought me these hair clips. Beth helped Bobby with his projects.

Chris made me a beautiful wood heart with an arrow. When we were out at my In-Laws over Memoril Day weekend, Chris spent time with Grandpa Tom out in the shop. I was given this beautiful heart while we were out there. He did a great job on it.

The girls took me shopping. They bought me a pink polk-dot purse and a green and blue summer bag. I really like both and will use them a lot this summer.

Kelly bought me this really cute capri set. We saw them in a cataloge the other day, she asked me which color I would get if I was going to get one. I told her pink. Beth and Kelly got blue ones and Summer got a purple one. Mine is tight, but it gives me a goal to work for!

Beth found me this wonderful book. It looks like a good read! I will be starting it today probally.

My kids take the prize with this one. Summer facilitated it, but the kids worked on it. It is a full size platter with flowers, leaves, butterflies, and dragonflies on it. It also has the kids names and the date. The kids helped paint it for me. I really adore it. They did a marvelous job on it. I will find a way to display it so I can enjoy it everyday!
