I love this cooler morning that we are having this morning. It is so refreshing and nice. I have opened all the windows and am letting the breeze blow in.

Chris's midterm gradecard came home yesturday. He is doing great!
Reading 89%
Writing 90%

He is so excited about school. He comes home and is working on the 3rd grade home school curriculum that I have here at home in the evenings and the weekends. It is really neat to see.

Bobby is really enjoying break, though I don't think he has the freedom that he thought he would have! I am praying that this break will do him a lot of good and that in the fall he will be willing and ready to go back to working hard on school. I am trying to encourage him to read a lot this summer. We set some goals, with a reward at the end. The reward at the end is Nickelramma. It is a nickel arcade not far from here. We have not at the opportunity to go to the library this week yet. I am hoping we can get there today, he has read everything we checked out last week, and is has not decided to start reading any of the hundreds of books we personally have on our book cases. We are still working on his attitude, but it is improving this morning.

Sarah was really cranky and went back to bed.
