Friday

Wow can you believe it is Friday already. I have had a pretty decent week. We are working on switching to Love and Logic. Some of the info is very basic, other stuff I am really struggling with. Like school work with Bobby. I really want to nag and bug him to do it. However we gave him his choices and he has to make his decision, and therefore have the natural consequences. I don't like that about myself that I feel that I should nag and bug but I do. I do know that this has completely changed my way of thinking or dealing with my kids. God is working on our family, and that is a really good thing.

I have made the gym twice this week. I feel motivated, I am putting the rest of our world back together. This is one area I struggle with. I really need to loose weight and get into better shape. I have done well this week. I also have been cutting my portions and trying to pay more attention to what I eat. It is a start and we are moving forward. Not having a computer this week has been strange. I miss being able to just log on at anytime and check my stuff. But I have discovered that I have soooooo much more time to spend with the kids and getting my stuff done during the day. For instance all of my house work is caught up. I was a couple of loads of laundry a day and nothing at night, it is all folded put away and caught up. The biggest mess is all the toys that didn't get picked up last night. It really feels good. Maybe being without a computer is not a bad thing.

Bobby has been working on his attitude this week. We started the week a bit rocky, but things have greatly improved. His school work is lacking but that is his problem not mine. He is doing a lot better with Chris. Overall I would say he is doing well.

Chris has had an interesting week. We have had a couple of fits, but he is getting better at reighning in stuff. School is going well, and we are doing weekly therapy. He journals daily, and we are all adjusting to having him home.

Bekah had a friend over yesturday. They played hard all afternoon. The two girls are only about 4 days apart in age and so completely different from one another. The girls had a really wonderful time.

Sarah has 2 new teeth. It would seem that she is going to be one of those people that goes from very few teeth to a whole mouth full over night. She has discovered her voice or should I say her shrill! But she is heard, and we know what she wants. Actually she has new words, that are getting clearer every day.

The weekend is coming, not sure what the plan is, I do know that we have to provide structure, not sure what that looks like this morning.
